Ingredients
1 10" Round Loaf of Italian Bread
1 cup Olive Salad (divided)

1/4 lb. Genoa Salami
1/4 lb. Ham
1/4 lb. Mortadella
1/4 lb. Mozzarella
1/4 lb. Provolone
Creole Mustard to Taste
Method
Cut the bread in half horizontally
Brush both sides with the oil from your 1-week-old Olive Salad
Spread 1/2 cup Olive Salad on bottom of loaf
Layer half of the Salami on the bottom half of the bread, then the Mortadella, the Mozzarella, the Ham, Provolone, and the remainder of the Salami
Top this with another 1/2 cup of Olive Salad.
Add a topping of Creole Mustard for an extra punch
Put the top of the loaf on and press it down carefully
Cut into 4-6 wedges. Serves 4-6
Ingredients for Muffuletta Olive Salad
1 cup Pitted Green Olives
1/2 cup pitted Kalamatta (or Black) Olives
1 cup Finely Chopped Gardinera
(Pickled Cauliflower, Carrots, Celery, Pepperoncini)
2 tablespoons Capers
2 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons Celery, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Fresh Oregano
2 tablespoons Green Onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
1 small jar Pimientos
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Method for Muffuletta Olive Salad
Finely chop all olives. Combine with all remaining ingredients except salt, pepper and olive oil.
Season to taste. Cover with olive oil. Place in jar and refrigerate for at least 4 days so flavors have a chance to fully develop
